On November 6th, 2024 , Spazio Maiocchi in Milan hosted the opening of “Every Island Has a Name”, an immersive exhibition where art, soundscapes, and film converge into a multi-sensory experience. Inspired by the film with the same name, initiated by Severin Van der Meer and directed by Achille Mauri, the exhibition transforms the cinematic narrative into a physical installation, guided by the vision of art director Oliviero Fiorenzi.

The exhibition features diverse works by Azuma Makoto, Mattia Bosco and Oliviero Fiorenzi. A series of live performances, curated by Andrea La Pietra, brought together talents such as Doriano Giovanni Maria Di Domenico, Giorgio Magistroni, and Pietro Vicentini. Silvano Zeiter’s photography and Genera’s dynamic visuals, which adapt to the live music, enriched the atmosphere, providing an intense visual and auditory experience.
